Some dreams don’t disappear. They simply wait for the right moment.

I’m Karina, a Ukrainian model whose journey in fashion began at the age of 13 when modelling was not just a career, but a childhood dream. My early years were shaped by runway and catalogue work, and I continued modelling professionally until my early twenties.

Then my career took me to another side of the same industry.

I moved into business development and sales, working closely with fashion, international exhibitions and events. I travelled extensively for work, including to Milan, Paris, Barcelona, Essen and Düsseldorf, and was involved in organising trunk shows, fashion presentations and industry events, as well as working directly with international clients and brands.

So, in many ways, I never actually left fashion, I simply experienced it from the other side. This gave me a strong understanding of how brands and clients work, what happens behind the scenes, and what it takes to be a reliable and professional presence in the industry.

I also continued developing my creative side. I studied theatre and completed training in television presenting and journalism, while continuing to take part in independent photo shoots and occasional modelling projects.

In April 2023, I moved to Spain and returned to modelling professionally.

Since then, I have been working full-time as a model, taking part in fashion shows, campaigns, editorials and commercial productions, including runway work during Paris Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and Mediterranea Fashion Week in Spain.

I bring not only a strong presence and natural beauty, but also the versatility, communication skills and professionalism that come from years of working on both sides of the fashion industry. I speak five languages and am available for international work and travel.

My work in front of the camera continues to evolve. I have completed my first year of film-acting studies in Spain and continue to develop my skills in acting, expression and character work — bringing more depth and versatility to my work as a model.

Perhaps that is why coming back to modelling at 38 did not feel like starting over. It felt like coming home.

And this time, I know exactly why I am here.
